EcoAfrica Social Ventures

Eco Africa Social Ventures, a non profit organization founded in 2007 by Janice Ashby, was created to raise money to help the Eco Africa collectives of crafting artisans survive the declining conditions in Zimbabwe. In the face of failed infrastructure, unaffordable school fees, uncollected trash and contaminated drinking water the artists and crafters are among the many independent entrepreneurs who suffer from the political upheaval taking place around them. EASV through generous donations provides daycare, meals, drinking water and other basic services to allow the Eco Africa collective continue to work.
